Brown pearl shell occupies the warm, grounded end of the natural shell range. Gibson changed the body shape and mounting-hole locations over different production periods, so this pickguard does not fit every Les Paul Junior. The supplier has confirmed that it does not fit the 2000 Gibson Les Paul Junior.
