Vintage yellow captures the color that white pickguards naturally become after years on an instrument: warm, slightly amber, with a lived-in quality that reads as character rather than age. On a new guitar it creates the impression of a well-seasoned instrument, complementing reliced hardware, aged-nickel tuners, and amber-tinted finishes without looking artificially distressed. The three-ply construction shows a contrasting bevel stripe at the edge, adding a structural detail that keeps the guard from reading as simply faded white. It pairs naturally with sunburst, natural, and blonde finishes where warm tones are already part of the visual language of the guitar.
Compatibility notice: This pickguard is designed for select Gibson Les Paul Junior Single Cut models using the older pickguard pattern. Gibson changed the body shape and mounting-hole locations over different production periods, so this pickguard does not fit every Les Paul Junior. The supplier has confirmed that it does not fit the 2000 Gibson Les Paul Junior.
Please compare the dimensions and mounting-hole positions shown in the photos with your guitar before purchasing. Do not rely on the guitar’s model name or year alone. Fit must be confirmed by comparing the outline and hole locations. This pickguard is not intended for Les Paul Junior Double Cut, Les Paul Special, SG, Epiphone, or other non-matching models.
