3. "No Frets" Manufacturer Warranty Support
For many of the major brands we carry, warranty coverage is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Examples include (but are not limited to): Hipshot Hardware, Cort Guitars, DigiTech, Universal Audio, and other brands that maintain their own warranty programs.
While warranty service is administered by the manufacturer, our "No Frets" commitment means we will help guide you through the process by providing proof of purchase, order documentation, and the appropriate contact information needed to initiate your claim.
4. What Constitutes a Manufacturing Defect?
A manufacturing defect is a failure caused by defective materials, workmanship, or assembly that occurs during normal intended use and proper installation. Covered defects generally appear without misuse, abuse, accidental damage, or unauthorized modifications.
5. Items Not Covered (Exclusions)
To keep our warranties fair and sustainable, the following are not covered under any tier of the "No Frets" Warranty:
-
Guitar Necks and Bodies: Due to the natural characteristics of wood and the many variables involved in assembly and finishing, necks and bodies are sold as-is once installation, finishing, or modification begins.
-
Consumable Items: Strings, picks, batteries, adhesives, cleaning supplies, and other items intended to wear out or be replaced through normal use.
-
Normal Wear and Tear: Cosmetic scratches, dents, finish wear, fading, and other signs of regular use.
-
Hardware Finish Aging: Tarnish, oxidation, patina, discoloration, plating wear, and other cosmetic changes resulting from sweat, humidity, environmental exposure, salt air, chemicals, or normal use.
-
Improper Installation: Damage resulting from incorrect installation, overtightened fasteners, stripped screws, improper wiring, cracked mounting surfaces, or misuse of tools.
