Black pickguards are one of those things that guitarists either reach for immediately or overlook entirely, but on the LP Junior body shape the bold silhouette of a black guard against an exposed top makes a strong visual statement. The three-ply construction adds the white-black-white bevel stripe at the edge, giving the perimeter a layered definition that reads as intentional detail rather than a plain cut edge. It disappears into a black finish, stands in sharp contrast against a sunburst or natural top, and sits somewhere between the two on cherry red. Compatibility notice: This pickguard is designed for select Gibson Les Paul Junior Single Cut models using the older pickguard pattern. Gibson changed the body shape and mounting-hole locations over different production periods, so this pickguard does not fit every Les Paul Junior. The supplier has confirmed that it does not fit the 2000 Gibson Les Paul Junior.
