The Hayden MF-484 2.N is a 30-watt guitar amp head that combines classic British tone with modern features and versatility. It is handcrafted by Dave Green in the UK Custom Shop, using high-quality components and valves.
The MF-484 2.N is the successor of the MoFo, a legendary amp series that was used by bands like Biffy Clyro and The Eagles of Death Metal. The new MF range has a more refined look and name but retains the same attitude and power of the original MoFo.
The MF-484 2.N can produce a wide range of sounds, from sparkling cleans to crunchy overdrive to heavy distortion. It has four EL84 power tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes, as well as four gain stages and a footswitchable boost (included).
It also has a ‘Studio’ switch that reduces the output to 2 watts, allowing you to enjoy the valve sound at lower volumes at home or in the studio. The MF-484 2.N also features a built-in Torpedo speaker simulator, which lets you connect the amp directly to a PA system or a recording device without using a cabinet.
You can choose from different cabinet models and mic positions and adjust the tone and level of the simulated output. The MF-484 2.N also has a line-in for re-amping, and a headphones jack for silent practice.
