The entry-level model of the new X Series, the X100, delivers the same slick and fast playability as its higher-end counterparts. Featuring a Meranti body, hard rock Maple neck, Jatoba fingerboard with a 400mm (15.75”) radius, two high-output humbucker pickups, and a 6-point tremolo system, this guitar is available in three open-pore finishes: Black, Black Cherry, and Black Cherry Burst.
The Meranti body shares tonal characteristics similar to Mahogany, offering a strong mid-midrange that cuts through the mix with authority for rhythm, while providing sweet highs for singing leads.
The Powersound pickups deliver classic humbucker punch and tone with an unbeatable quality-to-value ratio.
The vintage-style 6-screw tremolo bridge enhances the transfer of the strings' vibrational energy into the body for greater acoustic resonance, while also providing excellent tuning stability.
The elegantly contoured arm cut on the top enhances both comfort and appearance. This body modification is carefully designed on the X guitars to maximize comfort without removing unnecessary wood, resulting in graceful lines for both aesthetic beauty and ergonomic considerations.
The hard Maple neck provides strength and stability, delivering a defined and punchy sound that pairs well with virtually any type of body and fingerboard woods.
The Jatoba fingerboard, known for its density and stiffness, produces strong fundamentals and volume projection with an emphasis on high-mids, making it ideal for fingerboard usage.
