After dealing with some back issues I started looking at options to shave some weight from my 10.6lbs main gigging bass. Being a fan of the unconventional, I ultimately decided to convert it to a headless. After more research it was clear that this Nova headless setup was the way to go.
Ploutone had the best price so I reached out to inquire about stock and received a response much quicker than anticipated and placed my order. I reached out a few times for updates (no fault of Ploutone but Nova themselves) and these guys worked with Nova to have them ship the bridge directly to me to cut down the wait time! That's some stellar customer service!
The Nova Guitar Parts bridge itself is an awesome bit of kit. With the recent inclusion of adding thrust bearings to the tuners it makes tuning super smooth. I have the kit mocked up (I'll need to remove it to route the body a few millimeters) and I'm surprised at how stable it stays in tune. Each piece of the kit is rock solid, doesn't feel cheap or poor quality, and is doing its intended purpose of weight savings. I haven't done any modifications to the body yet and has already dropped weight from 10.6lbs to 9.9 lbs and should end up with a bass in the high 7 to low 8lb range when it's finished.
In not so many words, I will DEFINITELY be ordering from Ploutone again and ordering Nova parts for any future projects!
