Saddles arrive with a preliminary cut as a starting point. For best performance, they should be filed to fit your specific string gauge and nut slots. This step is standard practice with all professional-grade bridges. In most setups, the D, G, B, and high strings can be used with the provided cut unless heavier or non-standard gauges are chosen.
